Kaptain Carbon What I find interesting about Vagor is the abrasive atmosphere on soft melodies making it feel like a quiet day in some idyllic field just with the edges of one’s vision fading into blackness. Dungeon noise is an interesting field since it not only has the ability to experiment with something that seems diametrically opposed but also to cause many to take opinions on its very existence. Favorite track: Crimson Deserts And Remnants Of Scorched Plains.

about

Izanoth
Izanoth is a world of fantasies. Landscapes so extraterrestrial, our known earth wouldn’t even come close to. Creatures and races far beyond our imagination roam the divided provinces of the plane of Izanoth: some humanoid, some not.
Each of the provinces has their own view on magick, and their different beliefs in the arcane arts have even more so divided the land. An ancient war has made the world desolate. Where once great civilizations stood tall, now only small communities of descendants are left, barely managing to survive.
In each of the Chronicles, I will have my mind travel to a different part of the plane of Izanoth, and let the surroundings and history of an ancient culture inspire me to compose. I will try my best to capture the atmosphere and the stories that I see in my mind when I’m there. And I hope to entertain some people on the way.

Asthor
In the second chapter of the Chronicles Of Izanoth series of releases, I journeyed to the world of Asthor. Asthor always had a barren landscape, full of dangerous places and evil beings. The land itself was plagued and deformed by ages of fire. Long before civilization, only fiery hounds of the underworld and dragonic overlords dared to roam this place.
Once upon a time though, a group of refugees settled here and built their own civilization. They hoped to escape the wars of their homelands and with the help of the dragonic beings of Asthor, they forged a mighty and chaotic school of magick. They had the chance to perfect their magick for a long time, but eventually they also couldn’t escape the war of Izanoth…
As in all the provinces, hundreds of men died in battle and many of the remaining people fled to the mountains in Asthor. Now a fraction of the old civilization hides under the dragonic wings of its ruler. In relative safety, these people of chaos try to forge a new army. Not of their own men but of beings made out of fire and chaos. Beings that originate from the same ancient worlds as their dragonic ruler. This is how the chaos wizards of Asthor seek to end the war and once again bring peace to the world of Izanoth.
